In her later years she always wrote with black, red or turquoise blue Flair felt-tipped pens. She kept lists on torn envelopes and wrote letters full of news and kindness. And if ever I need a certain kind of comfort or a reminder of the grace of God, this name, written by her own hand, brings me back to a place of deep relief and thankfulness for all his undeserved goodness to me.
She loved and trusted God.
Memories flow as I once again look at this handwriting and remember my beautiful mother.
